Mash Direct, a specialty manufacturer of vegetable side dishes and ready meals, has landed a national list with Sainsbury’s for three of its award-winning vegetable side dishes.

The farm’s traditional red cabbage and beetroot, cheese broccoli and cheese cauliflower gratin are now on sale in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK.

The latest national listing follows similar activity for Mash Direct products last month.

Lance Hamilton, Director of Sales at Mash Direct, comments: “We are delighted to launch three of our multiple award-winning vegetable side dishes in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

“Although available all year round, these products are particularly popular in Autumn / Winter, so we are delighted to bring the taste of our farm fresh produce to even more homes across the UK. “

All three products are available now in the ready meals section of Sainsbury’s stores.

Mash Direct is one of the UK’s most successful producers of vegetarian products for home cooks in particular.

The business was founded by Martin and Tracy Hamilton on the family farm near Comber in County Down.

It was established in 2004 and now sells products throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

The company has also won export contracts to the United States, the Middle East and Europe.

The company was also recognized for its Curry Chip product at the UK Quality Food Awards.

Mash Direct received the Commendation in the Meal Accompaniment category at the annual food and beverage industry awards.

The Quality Awards showcase and celebrate outstanding innovation in food and drink in the UK.

Mash Direct has won a number of industry awards for unique crisps that are delicious, thick, beer-battered and then mixed with a mild curry seasoning. They take about 30 minutes to bake in the oven.

Like the rest of the company’s innovative line of vegetable accompaniments, they are 100% gluten-free and free from artificial colors or flavors.

Mash Direct claims that curry crisps are “very versatile and perfect as an alternative to on-the-go curry crisps.” “They can also be used as the perfect accompaniment to any main meal,” the company adds.

Curry Crisps contributes to its portfolio of innovative, fresh, field-to-fork vegetable side dishes grown on the Mash Direct family farm on the scenic Ards Peninsula.
