8 Doubt-Busters for Online Course Builders

It never ceases to amaze me how many entrepreneurs I speak with who dream of making a positive difference in the world, but never seem to step out of the starting line to make it happen.

When I ask them why they haven’t done anything substantive to get their point across yet, I get the same list of responses very often:

Okay, I still have a lot of research to do“”, “There are so many people doing this already that I have yet to come up with something special or different to stand out again“, Where “I need to wait until I am considered an expert before I go out there and start acting like one“…

These are the exact same things I used to tell myself, and as a result, I wasted YEARS helping others and living the life of my dreams.

You see, it’s actually the smartest people who doubt themselves the most. Because their intelligence, knowledge and insight has enabled them to understand that there is in fact so much more that they do not yet know. And so, they focus on the limits of their knowledge instead of their already existing abundance.

You can do it.

So many highly experienced, talented, skilled and knowledgeable professionals and entrepreneurs never make it “there” or help the world, because of the feeling of “fraud” they carry with them.

The idea of ​​putting yourself out there to teach people scares so many potential course designers, and as a result, there are so many entrepreneurs out there who don’t make enough money, work endlessly but fail to make it. nowhere and have so much to give to their market, but are overwhelmed by all the noise and overwhelming competition with those they deem “better” than them.

But you don’t need to compete. When you accept that you ARE great at what you do, all you have to do is tell people what you know. Teach them how they can know it and do it too. That’s it!

Here are 8 ways you can start moving from being a doubter to a positive difference maker:

  1. Do you have something to say
    Remember you have a message. You already know so much and this knowledge is invaluable to others; it has the power to transform lives, businesses and industries, as well as your own business and your bottom line; if only you could let it go !!
  2. Your scalable global business awaits
    Know that downloading your knowledge from your brain and sharing it with others is THE highest conversion method to building a strong and viable business. This is “eduentrepreneurship”; education, in a commercially profitable manner. It’s business, where everyone wins.
  3. You already have so much to share
    Make the most of what you have NOW – you can share what else you learn later.
    Don’t think that you have to wait until you have the perfect recipe or have achieved ALL knowledge about planet Earth in your subject before you can start helping people. First of all, not only is that utterly impossible, but you can’t share everything in a blog post, workshop, or tutorial video anyway. Just go with what you already have because it’s more than some people.
  4. You will be amazed at how many subjects you could teach
  5. Ask yourself if you’ve gotten to where you are in your life today, having learned NOTHING? Of course you have. Start by listing 100 things you think others should know. Whatever goes through your mind. It could be something that you have discovered yourself in practice; something you have read or seen on television; it could be something you’ve heard someone else talk about – anything; personal and / or professional.
  6. Divide your knowledge into micro-topics and share them in multiple forms (blogs, videos, articles, audios, webinars, etc.) piece by piece.
    If you missed something or learn something new about it later, make a new or updated post.
  7. You don’t have to be big and famous to make a big difference
    Realize that you don’t have to be a globally recognized expert on celebrity authority in something to have value, information, and value to give, share, and help others. You just have to share information about what you can do with someone who doesn’t know how to do it yet.
    With 7.2 billion people in the world, your chances of finding a few are pretty high.
    ** Note – to maintain your credibility, however, do not promise to give what you cannot offer; do not say that you are qualified in this subject if you are not; don’t fool people in any way about your experience – be honest with your audience.
  8. Your mistakes are blessings for others
    Remind yourself regularly that you have learned a lot in your life. Probably more because of your mishaps and times when things went wrong. There are a ton of people out there who haven’t made these mistakes yet, or stumbled upon these mishaps and haven’t yet learned the things you learned, whether you learned them formally or through experience. You are doing these people a selfish disservice if you do not share your lessons with others.
  9. Make it your mission to serve
    Achieve the sense of responsibility that it is your job and your purpose in the world, to help people with the things you already know; and help them use this knowledge to improve their lives and businesses.
    Be the educator – make a positive change – cost effectively!
    Educating and informing others on the subject of your industry automatically positions you as the right guy, the helper, the GURU in what you do.
    Spreading useful information makes people like you, like you, want more of you, appreciate you – AND want to pay you for more.
    Everyone has a message. Everyone has some sort of expertise in them.
    We all have some degree of knowledge and skills that can be shared to make us authority in our field; earn a lot more money and have a big impact on our markets.

All we have to do is view our own expertise as a valuable, salable resource that others need.
